The high traverse under Aiguille Verte is a shortcut that saves about 30-60min climbing.

You pass the North face of Les Droites. One day will I climb this face, that’s for sure!

Climbing up the face. 20-30cm powder…

It’s not always possible to do this route in a day because it faces East and get the sun early. Today it was a little bit of wind and that saved us. I recommend doing this route in two days unless it’s cold weather.

We skied from the little col. You have the summit of les Courtes just behind.

Ready to ski down. I think we skied down at around 14.30 o’clock.

First turn, first tracks…

One of my best ski descents for sure. 900 vertical meters with fresh powder and an average angle of 50° degrees.
