I actually wanted to do something on the Mont Blanc du Tacul this day but Max insisted to go. It's fun and inspiring to have freinds that want to do things so it wasn't hard to persuade me to come along...

Traversing to the Nantillons Glacier. As you can see it worked well without using skins. We started with the 0830 cablecar from Cham. It took us 7 hours to climb up and ski down.

I don't believe there is many peaple who tried the Spencer Couloir on monoski.

The couloir itself is not very long, it's the Nantillons Glacier thats take time to climb.

photo05 (IMG_0240.jpg Kb)

Flo about halfway up the couloir. Here it was much more easier to walk. Before, on the Nantillons Glacier, was the snow sometimes quit deep and heavy to walk.

It was the second time I skied the Spencer Couloir this season. I expierenced hard snowconditions in the upper sections both of the times.

The north face of the Aiguille du Plan. It's hard to believe someone really skied and snowboarded that.

photo08 (IMG_0253.jpg Kb)

You can start the decent from two different places. We choosed the right side witch was more sunnier and not to icy. It was anyway hard for the steel edges to stick into the snow. I'm not a ice fetischt. I don't like ice that much.

The view over the Chamonix Aiguilles peaks are impressive. Here is the Grands Charmoz and Aiguille du Grepon. In the background Verte, Courtes, Droites....Hell, there is so many things you can do here if you really motivated.

Max almost almost there after 1160 vertical meters climbing.

photo11 (IMG_0261.jpg Kb)

There was one group of skiers that bivacked and skied the the couloir before us. Thats why there is so many tracks on this photo. The snow was quite nice down here.
