I had a good feeling about the snowconditions in this Couloir and it turned out to be perfect. It was about 15 cm powder snow over a stable layer of packed snow.

You don't want to get stucked under this crazy serac. I moved as quickly as possible. Here I'm about to travers to the other side of the couloir.

At the top I met two guys who hiked up the noth face. It was nice to have some company on the decent.

The couloir is about 700 vertical meter hight with a average angle of 50 degrees.

The big objekt danger on this route is this enormous serac.
